Roast Broccoli with Ham


















Ingredients

2 stalks Broccoli
2 slices Ham, sliced 
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper

Method

1. Cut Broccoli into Florets
2. Coat Broccoli with olive oil and arrange in roasting pan.
3. Season with salt and pepper and add in slices of ham.
4. Roast at 180 degrees c for 20 minutes
5. Enjoy!

Homemade Ham and Cheese Focaccia Sandwich














 


















Ingredients

1 Homemade Focaccia*
Ham
Cheese

Method

1. Slice up focaccia, and halve it
2. In a pan, toast the focaccia
3. When the bread surfaced is slightly brown, remove from heat and quickly add ham and cheese
4. Enjoy while its warm and cheesy!


Ingredients

3/4 Cup Warm water
Generous dollop Good Quality Extra Virgin Olive oil (It must be Good quality as the bread depends on this to get the flavour)
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 3/4 Cup All-purpose flour
1 1/2 Tsp Dry yeast
2 Tsp sugar
Rosemary to taste (I use 1 Tbsp)
Thyme to taste (I use 1 Tbsp)

Method

1. Combine the warm water with the active dry yeast and the 2 tsp. sugar. Let stand until foamy, about 5-10 min.
2. Add the flour and salt gradually to the yeast mixture, about 1/2 cup at a time, until your dough no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl .
3. Drizzle 1/2 Tbsp olive oil into a pan. Place the dough into the pan. Cover and let rise for 60 min.
4. Preheat your oven to 180 Degrees C. 
5. Gently poke the risen dough all over with your index finger. Drizzle it lightly with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with Rosemary and Thyme.
6. Bake the bread till it's golden brown, about 40 min.
7. Enjoy!

Ham and Onion Omelette


































Ingredient

3 Eggs, beaten
100g Ham, sliced thickly
1 Red Onion, sliced into rings
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Heat up pan and drizzle in olive oil on medium heat
2. Add in onions and let them sweat
3. Once onions turn translucent, add in ham and pour beaten eggs in
4. Add in pinch of salt and pepper
5. Flip over the omelette after 3 mins
6. Another 2 mins and its ready
7. Enjoy!

Yoghurt Batter Dumplings with Ham and cheese (Uzbekistan Dumplings)

















I learnt this recipe from "Secret Meat Buisness" from Food Network Asia. I immedately made it for tea-break the day i watched the show.

Ingredient

1 Cup Plain Yogurt
1 Cup Flour
Slices of Picnic Ham
Slices of Cheddar Cheese
Flour for dusting during rolling
Oil

Method

1. Mix Yogurt and Flour together and form a dough
2. Using a rolling pin, roll out the doughto about 1 cm thickness
3. Use a round cutter or a glass, cut out round shapes
4. Wrap each piece of dough with ham and cheese.
5. Pan Fry the dumplings till golden brown
6. Enjoy!

Ham and Egg Panini














There are days where i will be too tired to want to step into the kitchen to cook. This is a perfect quick-fix for those days! A simple Panini sanwich thats not only filling but Yummy!

Ingredients

2 thick slices of Salami ham
1 Egg
2 slices of Cheese
4 Cherry Tomatoes
1 Panini bread
Pepper
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Assembly

1. Cut the Panini into half
2. Drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sprinkle Pepper on top of the oil
3. Slice 2 thick slices of Salami ham and arrange on panini
4. Fry an egg and lay on top of the ham, sandwiching a slice of cheese in between
5. Slice the cherry tomatoes into half and lay all over the panini.
6. Enjoy!
