Spaghetti Bolognese with Beef Balls


















Ingredients

240g Spaghetti
Store bought Beef Balls 
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 Cloves garlic, Whole
10 Tbsp Pasta tomato puree
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
15 Cherry tomatoes
Salt and Pepper

Method

1. Cook the spaghetti in a pot of boiling salted water according to the timing on the package. Drain and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, heat oil and saute garlic & parsley.
3. When fragrant, Add tomatoes, tomato puree and stir evenly. 
4. Once sauce is bubbling, taste and season with salt and pepper.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti and beef balls with the sauce and mix well
6. Enjoy!

Spaghetti Carbonara

















Ingredients

6 strips of streaky bacon 
1 pkt 500g Spaghetti
3 large eggs
3/4 cup of Aged Cheddar (shredded or grated)
1/4 cup of Pecorino Romano (shredded or grated)
1 Sprig Parsley, chopped
2 small or 1 large Onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and Pepper
Extra virgin olive oil 

Method

1. Cut up your bacon strips into 1 inch strips. Sweat onions till soft and add garlic, bacon. Remove once bacon are brown and crispy.
2. Cook the spaghetti according to instructions.
3. While the spaghetti cooks, mix together the eggs, cheese and parsley. Set this to the side while the pasta cooks.
4. Drain the pasta, but do not rinse it.
5. Quickly add the hot pasta to the egg-cheese mixture and mix together.  This will cook the egg.
6. Add the bacon, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with cheese.
7. Serve immediately.

Spaghetti Bolognese



















Ingredients
240g Spaghetti

250g Minced beef 
1 Tbsp olive oil

3 Cloves garlic, Whole
10 Tbsp Pasta tomato puree
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
15 Cherry tomatoes, sliced to half
Block of Cheddar or Parmesan
Salt and Pepper

Method


1. Cook the spaghetti in a pot of boiling salted water according to the timing on the package. Drain and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, heat oil and saute garlic & parsley.
3. When fragrant, add beef and fry for 2 minutes, breaking them up.
4. Add tomatoes, tomato puree and stir evenly. 
5. Once sauce is bubbling, taste and season with salt and pepper.
6. Add the cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce and mix well
7. Serve on a plate and grate generous amounts of Cheddar/Parmesan.
8. Enjoy!

Spaghetti Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino with Honey Baked Ham



















Recently, my sis-in-law went on a tour of Europe. She brought back a packet of this Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino for me. Not knowing what it is, i did a research and found that it was a mixture of Dried Garlic, Oil and Chili Peppers. I cooked it and it was really tasty! If you happen to be in Italy, or shop at an Italian Grocer, do get some to try!
  
Ingredients

1 Tbsp Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino for each Adult portion
Spaghetti of your choice (I used Angel Hair)
2 slices Honey Bake Ham per Adult
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method

1. Cook Spaghetti of your choice till Al Dente 
2. In a pan, add about 2 Tbsp of  Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 1 Tbsp of glio, Olio e Peperoncino  per adult 
3. Once the glio, Olio e Peperoncino is heated through, add in the spaghetti and Ham.
4. Mix well and serve
5. Enjoy!
