Potato, Chicken, Celery and Egg Salad


















Ingredients

2 Large Bratagi Potato, chop to 1cm cubes
2 Hard boil Eggs, sliced
1 Boneless chicken thigh meat
2 Stalk celery, chopped 
4 Tbsp Mayo
2 Tsp Djion Mustard
Salt and Pepper
Oil

Method

1. Boil potatoes for 8 minutes till knife can easily go thru when pierced. Cool and chill in fridge.
2. Boil eggs and Slice. Cool and chill in fridge.
3. Season chicken with salt and pepper, pan fry for 8 minutes on each side till golden brown. Chop to 1 cm cubes. Cool and chill in fridge.
4. After ingredients are chilled, assemble potato and chicken in bowl with celery.
5. Add in mayo and mustard. Mix well.
6. Serve with eggs on top of salad.
7. Enjoy!

Mixed Fruits and Celery Salad

















Ingredients

2 stalks Celery, chopped to 1 cm cubes
2 slices sweet DOLE Pineapple, chopped to 1 cm cubes
2 mandarin Oranges, peeled and separated, chopped to 1 cm cubes 
1 Avocado, chopped to 1 cm cubes
1 Pomegranate  

Method

1. In a salad mixing bowl, mix everything together except Pomegranate  
2. Plate up salad
3. Cut Pomegranate  into half and using the back of knife, knock the Pomegranate  seeds out for nice colour and texture
4. Enjoy!

Chicken, Celery, Carrots and Tomatoes Beer Stew


















Ingredients

2 whole chicken drumsticks

1 onion, chopped finely
2 cloves garlic, chopped finely

1 tomato, chopped finely

2 Stalk Celery, chopped
1 Carrot, chopped 
330ml beer

1 bay leave

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and black pepper, to taste


Method


1. In a medium bowl, marinate chicken pieces with salt and pepper, set aside for 10 to 20 minutes.
2. Heat up oil in a frying pan. Pan-fried both sides of the chicken pieces until golden brown. Dish out and set aside.
3. Melt butter in the frying pan, saute onion and garlic until fragrant. Add Celery and carrot and stir fry for 5 minutes. Add chicken pieces and then make a few quick stirs. 
4. Add beer, tomato and bay leave. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes.
5. Season the dish with salt and black pepper. 

6. Enjoy!

Braised Chicken with Celery and Garlic


















Ingredients

6 Chicken thighs with skin and bone 

2 Tbsp olive oil

10 Garlic cloves, halved
3 Celery ribs, cut crosswise into 1-inch pieces
1 Carrot, Sliced thickly 

1 Cup dry white wine

1 Cup water
Method
    1. Pat chicken dry and season with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. 
    2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat until it shimmers. 
    3. Sear chicken, skin side down, in 2 batches until golden brown (do not turn), 3 to 5 minutes, then transfer to a plate.

    4. Cook garlic, carrot and celery in skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until golden and just beginning to soften, about 5 minutes. 
    5. Add wine and boil, uncovered, until reduced by about half, 3 to 5 minutes. 
    6. Add water and bring to a simmer.

    7. Return chicken, skin side up, to skillet and simmer, partially covered, until cooked through, 20 to 25 minutes.
    8. Enjoy!

      Celery Omelette

















      Ingredients


      4 stalks Celery
      2 eggs
      pinch of salt
      Cooking Oil

      Method:

      1. Finely slice the Celery
      2. Add the eggs, salt and beat well.
      3. Heat some oil in a large nonstick frying pan. 
      4. Sweat the celery for 5 mins and add eggs mixture into the pan and spread evenly. Cook about 2-3 minutes on each side. 
      5. Enjoy!

      Stir Fry Celery with Prawns

















      Ingredients


      150 g Prawns, deshelled and deveined
      2 stalk Celery, peeled and sliced diagonally
      1 Tsp oil
      ½ Tsp salt
      1 Tbsp rice wine

      Method

      1. Heat oil in wok. Add in celery and sauté for 1 minute.
      2. Add in prawns and cook until prawns turn pink.
      3. Add in salt and rice wine, stir.
      4. Off heat, dish up and serve.
      5. Enjoy!
